BRYAN MAJORS
is a native of Harrisburg, PA, and he is the youngest son of Merry-Grace and Gary ‘Wes’ Majors who are his pure motivation. Bryan, along with his brothers, Westburn, Garrett and Erich, his twin, are successful products of the Harrisburg City School District. Bryan graduated from John Harris High School in 2006, where he was the starting point guard for two years for the Harrisburg Cougars and graduated with a 3.8 GPA.
His educational journey continued when he was blessed with the opportunity to attend Susquehanna University on an academic scholarship. Bryan graduated from Susquehanna University in 2010 with a 3.6 GPA and he was the first African American male to earn a degree in elementary education from that institution. In addition to academic success, Bryan had an outstanding basketball career – earning recognition as Rookie of the Year, two-time conference Defensive Player of the Year, career leader in assists, second leader in steals, two-year captain and four-year starter. Bryan then attended Penn State Harrisburg and earned a Master of Public Administration degree with a concentration on Non-Profit Organizations, where he started Major Prep Cycle Breakers.
In 2008, Bryan faced the biggest adversity he could ever encounter. He had to suffer the loss of his father. Bryan was prepared for the moment and turned his pain into profit. Based on lessons taught by his father about always being prepared for life’s opportunities and challenges, Bryan developed his business Major Prep LLC., with the mission to help others to be prepared to address individual obstacles that undermine the achievement of life goals.
Bryan is now a supreme professional speaker, entrepreneur and nationally recognized preparation expert. He has earned his place as one of the most vibrant show stopping performer’s at conferences worldwide delivering leadership & preparation based strategies that have an immediate impact.
Bryan is a renowned author of his first book “Training For Triumph” which is a leadership and preparation book to magnify ones success. Training For Triumph reconditions the mind to desire accomplishment. Training For Triumph gives the reader real life strategies to apply to personal and professional development. Bryan's energy and presence are captivating throughout this book and his empowering principles on preparation will yield instant results that will help prepare the reader for the distracting and challenging times of the new millennium.
Since 2012, Bryan has delivered over 250 seminars, worked with elementary schools, middle schools, high schools, collegiate & corporate clients and he’s helped hundreds of conference attendees achieve maximum levels of leadership and preparation.
Bryan accomplished one of his life long dreams of being a professional basketball player for world famous Harlem Globetrotters Organization as a Washington General, traveling the world impacting lives through the game of basketball. Successful organizations and companies like Susquehanna University, Links Incorporated, Delta Sigma Theta and over 50 companies each year invest in his teachings, booking him again and again.
